About

Ancient Wisdom, Modern Voices is a show that bridges the gap between the past and the present, bringing ancient insights to examine today’s most pressing issues.

Each episode explores timeless ideas from Confucius to Marcus Aurelius, from Laozi to Socrates, and asks what they can teach us about modern challenges like leadership, mindfulness, relationships, and connection in the digital age.

Hosted by Tyler Chung and his co-hosts Nina, David, Michelle, and Yi-Ting, the podcast blends philosophy, storytelling, and humor to make ancient wisdom accessible and relevant. Together, they invite listeners to pause, reflect, and rediscover meaning in a fast-paced world.

Whether you’re here for a moment of reflection or a spark of inspiration, welcome! You’re part of a growing community learning to bridge timeless wisdom with modern life, one conversation at a time.

Tyler is the Founder and Host of Ancient Wisdom Modern Voices. He holds an MBA from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor.

Outside of the podcast, Tyler is a coffee enthusiast who admittedly drinks far too much coffee, a movie lover, and an avid music listener who is constantly adding to his 40+ (and counting) Spotify playlists. When he’s not working or recording, you can often find him watching Formula One, cheering on his favorite driver, Max Verstappen, playing Pádel or tending to his garden.
